AK Accounting Local Automation
Terms of Use & End-User License Agreement
Effective date: October 21, 2026
These terms govern the use of akaccounting.pro and AK Accounting Local Automation (the “App”), provided by AK Accounting LLP (“we”, “us”). By using the App, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Intended use and license
The App is an internal integration for AK Accounting LLP and expressly authorized users. Subject to these terms and any applicable written agreement, we grant authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for legitimate accounting document preparation, bookkeeping, reconciliation and reporting. No ownership of our software or content is transferred. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.
2. Authority and acceptable use
You may connect only QuickBooks companies for which you have valid authorization. You are responsible for your account, access decisions, submitted instructions and the accuracy of information you provide. Do not misuse credentials, access another company without permission, bypass security restrictions, interfere with the service, or use the App unlawfully. Keep passwords and connection tokens private.
3. QuickBooks and other providers
The App is independent of Intuit and is not endorsed by Intuit. A QuickBooks account and administrator authorization may be required. Intuit’s services and any authorized AI assistant are governed by their own terms, permissions and availability. You must have the right to share any data you submit to an assistant. We do not control third-party service changes or interruptions.
4. Scope of the service
The App supports authorized reading, creation and updating of accounting records; preparation and delivery of approved invoices and estimates; payment recording; and reconciliation support using the tools available for the connected company. Users must verify the company, document contents and recipient before making a change or sending a document. Recording a payment in the books does not charge a card or transfer funds. The current integration does not provide card/ACH payment processing, bank transfers, tax-return e-filing or automated lending decisions. This public website does not provide public account registration or subscription purchasing. Any separately agreed professional services, fees and responsibilities are governed by the applicable written engagement.
5. Review of outputs
Reports and assistant-generated explanations can contain errors or incomplete information. An authorized person must check outputs against the source records before relying on them. The App does not itself create an accountant–client relationship or provide legal, investment or tax advice. Professional advice requires an appropriate separate engagement.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled. You retain your rights in the records you supply and authorize us to process them as necessary to perform the requested work.
7. Availability, warranties and liability
We may maintain, change or suspend the App, including to address security concerns or loss of authorization. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and App are provided “as is” and “as available”, without a promise of uninterrupted service or error-free outputs. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App. These provisions do not exclude rights, duties or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and do not override an applicable written professional-services agreement.
8. Ending use and changes
You may stop using the App and revoke the connection in QuickBooks at any time. Follow the disconnection instructions and remove local credentials. We may end access for unauthorized or unlawful use. Obligations relating to records, confidentiality and mandatory law continue where applicable. Updates to these terms will be posted here with a revised effective date; a material change may require renewed acceptance before further App use.
